Loft Bunkhouse
for girls 7-11 years old/Grade 1-5
The ‘Loft’ Bunkhouse is home to our 22 younger campers, girls are grouped in areas with campers close in age. (There is a spot on the application to request a friend) Counselors also sleep in Loft. .
Loft girls wake up at 7 am and meet friendly C.I.T.’s to play a game before breakfast at 8 am.
When not riding, swimming, horse hikes and tack cleaning, are just a few of the activities that keep girls learning, engaged and having fun all day long.
The evening program includes games, crafts, talent shows, hair braiding and dance parties.
Teeth brushing, hand washing and showering are all part of the weekly routine.
Derby Bunkhouse
for girls 12-14 years old/Grades 6-8
The Derby Bunkhouse is for home to 24 campers in grade 6-8 each week. Counselors also live in Derby.
Derby campers rise and shine at 730 and help out with chores before breakfast at 8am. The campers in Derby are paired with a Loft camper to get to know for the week. Campers really enjoy helping their new younger friend groom and tack up.
Swimming, crafts, games, and lectures are just some of the activities Derby girls participate in when not riding.
Music, cards, dance parties and games like ‘Gotcha’ in the evenings ensure staying in Derby is non-stop fun.
There are six showers are located in Derby.
There is a spot on the application to request to bunk near a friend. It is helpful if friends request each other.
